The city of Ordos in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region signed a number of deals in line with its development strategy on March 16.

The 161 projects involve new energy, the transformation and upgrading of traditional industry, strategic and emerging industries, and the modern service industry.

Their total investment amounted to 304.68 billion yuan ($45.71 billion).

Twelve of the projects received from 5 billion yuan to 10 billion yuan each in investment, while eight projects received more than 10 billion yuan in investment.

At an online signing ceremony for the projects, a business promotion video was shown to attendees.
