Kangbashi makes China's Internet-Famous District list

Kangbashi district in the city of Ordos in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region made it on the list of China's Internet-Famous Districts and Counties this year.
The news was revealed in the China Internet-Famous City Index Report, which was released by the China Economic Information Service affiliated with Xinhua News Agency at the 2022 Boao Forum for Entrepreneurs on Nov 26.
Based on the reality of urban development, the report focuses on four aspects - urban attractiveness, consumption trends, communication influence and brand support.
It looked at 297 prefecture-level cities and municipalities as well as 2,844 county-level administrative districts before forming a list of 10 leading cities and 30 leading districts and counties.
Kangbashi district was a new addition this year.
According to the index report, Kangbashi district has become more prominent in terms of promoting communication influence and gathering public power to build an image.
In recent years, Kangbashi district has continuously enhanced its public image through mediums such as raps, speeches and live broadcasts.
