Ordos welcomes tourists who seek some winter fun

The city of Ordos in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region will officially begin its ice and snow tourism season on Dec 17.
The season is scheduled to last around three months until March 2023.
During the season, rich activities, such as ice and snow sightseeing, sports, entertainment, dining and local customs experiences, will take place to bring in tourists who are looking for some winter fun.

Other activity highlights include the sixth Ordos Ice and Snow Carnival, the sixth Ordos Ice and Snow Naadam, the first Jiucheng Palace Winter Fishing Festival, and the New Year's Eve Carnival.
Despite the activities themed around ice and snow, this year's tourism season will span several traditional festivals such as the New Year's Day, the Spring Festival and the Lantern Festival.
A series of activities will be organized to add to the festive atmosphere.
