PetroChina Sulige Gas Field, the largest onshore integrated gas field in China, has a daily natural gas production of more than 100 million cubic meter, according to information from PetroChina on Dec 10.
It is the first integrated gas field in the country with a daily output exceeding 100 million cu m, which is a new record. The daily gas output can meet the gas consumption of 50 million families.
It is located in the northern part of the Ordos Basin in the city of Ordos in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

PetroChina Sulige Gas Field has proven reserves that exceed one trillion cubic meters, and has proven geological reserves of up to 4.64 trillion cu m.
Since the beginning of this year, 1,204 gas wells have been operating in the gas field, and the daily gas production has increased by 16.25 million cu m.
Up to now, 28.68 billion cu m of natural gas have been produced. It is estimated that by the end of this year, the natural gas production of Sulige Gas Field will exceed 30 billion cu m, accounting for 58 percent of the country's onshore tight gas.
