With the Spring Festival almost upon us, a cultural event targeting foreigners working, studying and living in the city of Ordos, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, was successfully held both online and offline on Jan 12.
The event aimed to boost cultural exchanges and showcase the charm of traditional Chinese culture to foreign friends through activities such as cultural exhibitions, folklore experiences, and food tastings.
Exciting traditional activities, including writing couplets, pasting blessing characters, cutting window grilles, hanging lanterns, making New Year's Eve dinner, and making traditional Chinese delicacies like dumplings, fried cakes and milk tea, were held.
