Jointly organized by the government of Ejin Horoo Banner and the management committee of Genghis Khan's Mausoleum Scenic Area, the contest aimed to show the charm of the traditional sports item.

Bokh, or Mongolian-style wrestling, is a traditional Mongolian sports activity with a history of nearly 2,000 years. In 2006, it was included in the national list of intangible cultural heritages.
