As the Qingming holiday unfolded, the enthusiasm for travel continued to rise throughout the country, leading to bustling crowds at major scenic spots across Ordos city.

During the three-day holiday, April 4 to 6, the cumulative number of visits to Ordos reached 1.15 million, marking a 169 percent increase compared to the same period last year. It also indicates a remarkable 143.88-percent growth compared to statistics in 2019.

Over the same period, the city achieved a total tourism revenue of 861 million yuan ($117.95 million), indicating a 172 percent surge from the previous year and an astounding 274.35 percent rise from 2019.
