Ordos sees May Day holiday economy boom

During the May Day holiday from May 1 to 5, local tourism soared as crowds flocked to major attractions across Ordos city.
Throughout this period, Ordos registered 2.09 million tourist visits, marking a 1.41-fold increase from the same period last year, and achieved a tourism revenue of 2.01 billion yuan ($275.34 million), which is 1.26 times higher than last year.

Among Ordos' districts and banners, Dongsheng district saw the highest number of visits at 476,207, followed by Jungar Banner with 322,674 visits, Ejin Horoo Banner with 306,123 visits, and Dalad Banner with 292,444 visits.
