Ordos leads Inner Mongolia in foreign investment utilization for H1

The city of Ordos in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region has emerged as the leader in actual foreign investment utilization within Inner Mongolia for the first half of this year.
From January to June, Ordos utilized 804.69 million yuan ($110.23 million) in actual foreign investment, marking a year-on-year increase of 26.6 percent. This represents approximately half of the total foreign investment used across the region, accounting for 61.5 percent of the city's annual target.
Breaking it down by industry, the mining sector received 482.89 million yuan, manufacturing received 321.07 million yuan, and agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and fishery received 730,000 yuan. The proportion of foreign investment in manufacturing increased by 22.9 percentage points over the same period last year, indicating an optimized investment structure.
Regarding the sources of investment, France contributed 482.89 million yuan, Hong Kong 321.07 million yuan, and the Netherlands 730,000 yuan. The range of investment sources has expanded compared to the previous year.
