Kangbashi district in Ordos made a grand appearance at the 2024 Xi'an Silk Road International Tourism Expo, which was held in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, on Aug 9-11.

During the event, Kangbashi showcased the cultural and tourism image of Ordos and the achievements made in the development of cultural and tourism industries.

At the cultural and tourism promotion session, Kangbashi's tourism ambassador, Sun Yue, represented Kangbashi and delivered an on-site promotional speech, introducing the district's high-quality cultural and tourism resources before extending a warm invitation to the city's residents and visitors.

In recent years, Ordos has sought to attract tourists from Xi'an and strived to promote cooperation between the two cities' cultural and tourism enterprises. Xi'an has emerged as a pivotal source of visitors for Ordos, solidifying its importance in the region's tourism landscape.
