The first fleet of 20 integrated ride-hailing electric taxis has officially been put into operation in Kangbashi district, Ordos city, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

The concept of integrated ride-hailing refers to merging traditional taxis and modern online ride-hailing services, creating a seamless blend of old and new transportation models.

This newly updated fleet exclusively features SUV models, offering enhanced passenger comfort and significantly increased trunk space for luggage.

Equipped with the latest in-vehicle electronic systems, these integrated ride-hailing taxis address the conflict between offline and online orders.

When a driver picks up a passenger offline, the system automatically halts online orders and displays the occupied status on the rooftop LED screen. This innovation improves the passenger experience and reduces empty vehicle mileage, thereby increasing drivers' income.

These vehicles are the only integrated ride-hailing taxis currently operating within Inner Mongolia.

As the city of Ordos rapidly advances its new energy taxi upgrade project, a substantial number of new electric taxis are expected to hit the streets in the near future.
