Ordos city in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region has established a low-carbon economy research institute, marking a significant step towards sustainable development.
The institute is a collaborative effort initiated by the Shenzhen Space Solar and Hydrogen Energy Innovation Research Institute, the Green Ark International Alliance, and the Inner Mongolia Haorui Energy Co.
It has been established with the joint participation of the Ordos State-owned Asset Investment Holding Group and the Ordos Urban Investment Group. This non-profit research institute aims to drive innovation and development in the low-carbon economy.
According to the plan, the institute will undertake scientific research projects assigned by the Shenzhen Space Solar and Hydrogen Energy Innovation Research Institute and also focus on the specific needs of Ordos' green and low-carbon economic development.
The institute will delve into various fields, including clean energy, the assembly of new energy heavy-duty trucks, the utilization of mine waste, and the cultivation of high-value specialty Chinese medicinal herbs.
By introducing a range of patented technologies, the institute aims to conduct local research, iteration, and application transformation.
