The 10th Silk Road International Arts Festival concluded with a grand ceremony in Xi'an on Nov 10, showcasing the vibrant cultural exchanges between civilizations. The Ordos Ulan Muqir Youth Choir from North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region was the only group from the region invited to perform at the prestigious event.

During the concert, the choir captivated the audience with their unique artistic style and exceptional vocal skills, delivering heartfelt renditions of the classic pieces "Zan'ge" and "Father's Prairie, Mother's River."

"Zan'ge" featured a powerful and stirring melody that celebrated the majestic landscapes and the indomitable spirit of the Chinese people.

In contrast, "Father's Prairie, Mother's River" adopted gentle lyrics and a melodious tune to offer a tender and evocative portrayal of the deep emotional bonds between the people of northern China and their vast homeland.

Comprised of over 30 talented members, the Ordos Ulan Muqir Youth Choir is dedicated to creating high-quality musical works. They focus on exploring, preserving, and promoting the rich cultural heritage of their region, while also engaging in international cultural exchanges to foster a flourishing art scene.
