The Ordos Intelligent Connected Industrial System Conference has unveiled the city's policy framework for intelligent connected vehicles (ICVs).

The "2+1+1+N" structure provides a comprehensive roadmap for the development and demonstration of new energy ICVs in Ordos.

The framework, which spans top-level design, legislative support, regulatory management, and foundational infrastructure, ensures a robust system for regulating the application scope, operational processes, road testing, and data security of ICVs.

The policy framework outlines responsibilities, procedural standards, and processing guidelines across key areas, including testing, commercialization, cybersecurity, and cloud control platforms.

It establishes end-to-end oversight of ICV operations and enables cross-domain data sharing for vehicles, traffic management, and industrial applications.

This framework serves as a cornerstone for large-scale ICV demonstrations in Ordos, bolstering the city's efforts to build an integrated "vehicle-road-cloud" industrial system.
