The fourth session of the Fifth Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Ordos Municipal Committee convened on Jan 19, reviewing the committee's annual work report.

The Fifth CPPCC Ordos Municipal Committee currently comprises 284 members, with 269 members attending the session, meeting the quorum requirements.

Su Zhongsheng, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Fifth CPPCC Ordos Committee, delivered a work report summarizing the committee's achievements over the past year.

The report highlighted four key areas: Demonstrating unwavering loyalty to the CPPCC's mission, enhancing the CPPCC's role as a platform for consensus-building, contributing united efforts toward major initiatives, and shaping a dynamic and progressive image for the CPPCC.

Su Xinya, vice-chairman of the Fifth CPPCC Ordos Municipal Committee presented a report on the status of proposals submitted during the past year.

Since the third session of the Fifth CPPCC Ordos Municipal Committee, CPPCC members, participating entities, and specialized committees have fulfilled their duties through proposals focusing on development, livelihood concerns, and municipal priorities.

Many of these recommendations were adopted, playing a vital role in supporting the municipal government's scientific decision-making and effective governance, thereby advancing high-quality economic and social development in Ordos.
