Ordos receives 3.11m visits during Spring Festival holiday

Ordos city in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region received 3.11 million visits from Jan 28 to Feb 4 during the 2025 Spring Festival holiday, which generated revenue of 2.22 billion yuan ($305 million).
Guangdong, Shanghai, Shaanxi, Hebei, and Chongqing were the top five sources of tourists from outside the region, accounting for 66.43 percent.
Popular attractions such as Jiuchenggong Grassland Manhan Cultural Tourism Area, Kangzhen Ancient Town, and Ordos Cultural Industrial Park created a vibrant festive atmosphere, drawing large crowds and earning widespread praise.
