For the fifth year in a row, Ordos city in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region has secured the region's top spot for business environment assessment.

The city has implemented over 1,000 measures to enhance its business climate, fostering high-quality growth for enterprises.

Utilizing the "Inner Mongolia Real Estate Registration Integration" system, Ordos has pioneered the integration of real estate registration with finance and taxation services. It is the first city in the region to introduce a "one-scan payment" model for tax-related transactions, significantly improving efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Ordos has addressed key water, electricity, heating, and gas installation challenges to further streamline utility services.

Under the "Convenient Living Services" initiative, the city introduced the "Project Manager" mechanism, reducing processing time to just two working days for new building utility applications and three working days for existing buildings. This has greatly enhanced user experience and satisfaction.

The city has also prioritized optimization efforts as a key government initiative, recognizing the importance of a robust business environment. It has rolled out five successive versions of its business optimization plan by integrating governance, market, legal, and social environment improvements.

These efforts have translated policies into tangible achievements, earning Ordos prestigious titles such as the "2024 Benchmark City for International Business Environment" and the "2024 Best Business Environment for High-Quality Development".
