An intangible cultural heritage box lantern show is debuting from Feb 10 to 12 in Ordos city's Dalad Banner, running nightly from 8:30 to 9 pm.

These handcrafted lanterns, a stunning blend of paper art, paper cutting, painting, and fireworks, fuse traditional opera with modern cultural elements.

Recognized as a provincial-level intangible cultural heritage item of North China's Hebei province, the box lantern tradition dates back centuries.

When lit at night, they create a dazzling display symbolizing peace and prosperity.
