On the night of Lantern Festival, which fell on Feb 12 this year, the banks of Ulan Mulun Lake in Kangbashi district of Ordos city became the stage for a breathtaking visual spectacle.

A dazzling display of drones and fireworks lit up the night sky, creating a mesmerizing scene that captivated tens of thousands of residents and tourists.

A total of 2,025 drones took flight, using the dark sky as their canvas to paint vivid images. The opening display, "Sisi ruyi, Shengsheng buxi" was particularly striking.

The ancient oracle bone script for "Si" transformed into two intertwined serpents, forming the number "2025" with their starry bodies – symbolizing prosperity and good fortune for the Year of the Snake. Following this, stunning formations of dragons, phoenixes, and lion dances unfolded in the sky, enhancing the festive atmosphere.

As the drone show concluded, a spectacular fireworks display began, unfolding in five themed chapters. Inspired by the rich cultural heritage of the Ordos grasslands, the fireworks incorporated cutting-edge, eco-friendly, low-smoke technology, delivering a dazzling and environmentally conscious celebration.
