Two young athletes from Ordos city delivered outstanding performances during the first leg of the ISU Junior World Cup Speed Skating, which was held from Nov 29 to 30 in Milan, Italy.

Pan Baoshuo and Lu Jiali, both trained by Ordos Vocational Secondary School, competed with confidence and consistency throughout the event.

Pan claimed the mass-start title and, together with his teammates, secured second place in the team pursuit. In the women's 500-meter race, Lu showed composure and strength, finishing in an impressive seventh place.

Their achievements highlight the growing talent and international competitiveness of Ordos' young athletes.
