Delegates attending the cultural and tourism exchange event between the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, and Macao visited the Ordos Modern Cashmere Industry Park in Inner Mongolia autonomous region on July 28.

The visit marked the first stop following the opening ceremony of the exchange program, which brought together more than 150 government officials, scholars, industry representatives, and media guests.

At the industrial park, delegates toured the product exhibition center and cultural and creative exhibition hall, learning about the development of the cashmere industry, brand building, green transformation, and the integration of industry with tourism.

Representatives from Hong Kong and Macao's cultural and tourism sectors said Ordos' distinctive "industry + tourism" model aligns with the growing demand for high-end cultural tourism experiences and offers promising opportunities for future cooperation.

Located in Hantai town of Dongsheng district, the industrial park integrates cashmere research, manufacturing, exhibition, and sales. It is the world's largest cashmere product manufacturing base and a popular industrial tourism destination.
