Ordos in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region held a low-altitude economy cooperation event in Beijing from Sept 7 to 9, bringing together more than 60 companies, five research institutions, and industry associations to explore cooperation opportunities.
During the event, an Ordos delegation visited leading companies and innovation platforms, including China Railway Signal & Communication Co and the Zhongguancun Low-Altitude Technology Innovation Center. The delegation learned about technologies and applications in drone management, low-altitude security, heavy-lift unmanned helicopters, low-altitude intelligent networks, and smart equipment.
At a cooperation meeting on Sept 9, Ordos introduced its development foundation and plans for the low-altitude economy. The Ordos High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Ejin Horoo Banner, Juungar Banner, Dalad Banner, and Ordos Airport Group presented their industrial strengths, resources, and potential real-world applications. Six Beijing-based companies also presented their core technologies and cooperation plans.
The event established a government-business cooperation platform linking Ordos' industrial needs and application scenarios with Beijing's technology and innovation resources, laying the groundwork for further cooperation in low-altitude applications, technology commercialization, and industrial development.
