Three local standards for childcare services in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, drafted under the leadership of Kangbashi district's Early Education Guidance Center, have taken effect.
The standards cover responsive care for infants aged 0–3, the development and operation of community childcare facilities, and pre-service training for childcare workers.
They set practical requirements for daily care, interaction, quality assessment, facility planning, safety, staffing, as well as training hours, content, and evaluation.
The three standards fill gaps in Inner Mongolia's childcare standard system and provide professional guidance for service operations and workforce development.
