The scenic spot is located on the south slope of Bazhong. It is mainly composed of three major scenic spots: Nankan Grottoes, Sichuan-Shaanxi Revolutionary Base Museum, and General Stele Forest of Sichuan-Shaanxi Soviet Area.

The Nankan Grottoes is a national key cultural relic protection unit; the Sichuan-Shaanxi Soviet Area General Stele Forest is the largest in the country; and the Sichuan-Shaanxi Revolutionary Base Museum is a patriotic education base to understand the history of the Red Fourth Front Army and the Sichuan-Shaanxi Soviet Area.
