On June 27, the World Internet Conference (WIC) Nishan Dialogue on Digital Civilization presented a captivating exhibition, showcasing China's remarkable traditional culture in the historic city of Qufu, Jining.

During the opening ceremony held at Qufu Minggucheng, the unlocking ceremony commenced with auspicious morning bell tolls, followed by mesmerizing dance performances and musical renditions that welcomed esteemed guests into the city. Among the performances were Yi dances, traditionally performed on Confucius's birthday at a shrine to the famous sage, and some gracefully executed feather garment dances.

This year's exhibition witnessed significant enhancements in terms of overall planning, music production, costume design, and structure, catering to the appreciation of traditional culture by modern audiences.

During the exhibition, over 100 elementary school students recited timeless passages from revered works such as The Analects, The Great Learning, and The Doctrine of the Mean.

Following a captivating cappella chorus performance featuring excerpts from The Analects, distinguished guests proceeded through Donghua Gate to explore a street dedicated to exquisite handcrafted items in Jining.

There, visitors marveled at unique creations made from Ru pottery, stone carvings, Shandong brocade, and Nishan inkstones, showcasing some of Jining's thriving cultural brands.

Media outlets and attendees praised the local traditional culture. "Visiting the Temple and Cemetery of Confucius and the Kong Family Mansion allowed me to witness the enduring legacy of this local cultural heritage," gushed journalist Lei Miaoxin.
