The third "Fareast Cup" International Regatta got underway on Sept 1 in the eastern coastal city of Qingdao, Shandong province. Six teams from different countries and regions including China, Japan, Russia and South Korea are competing in the offshore race over a route of more than 2,000 nautical miles that goes from Qingdao to Russia's Vladivostok, then returns to Qingdao after a stopover in Mokpo, a coastal city in South Korea.
