Yi Peijuan, a 64-year-old practitioner of Yantai paper-cutting art, created a series of artworks to support China's fight against the novel coronavirus pneumonia and thank medical workers on the frontlines.

"I can't go to the frontlines myself, but I can use my hands to pay tribute to medical workers on the frontlines," Yi said.

According to Yi, it takes her nearly three days to complete an artwork.

As a representative practitioner of Yantai paper-cutting, Yi has been actively supporting and participating in various public welfare undertakings.

She created paper-cuts of the 37 sports and mascots during the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
