The city of Liaocheng in Shandong province has launched a campaign to promote the city via short dance videos on video sharing platform Douyin.

Short videos featuring different dances at Liaocheng's scenic spots are being posted on the popular short video platform. 

The event was organized by the Liaocheng Federation of Literary and Art Circles in a bid to promote the city's natural scenery, rich culture and healthy living environment.

The dance video features Guangyue Tower of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) in Liaocheng, which is also the earliest extant building of wooden structure in China. [Video/sdwenlian.com]
