Shandong cultural venues tightens epidemic prevention and control

Cultural venues in Shandong province will further tighten epidemic prevention and control measures during service hours, according to their latest announcements.

The Shandong Art Museum has required visitors to make reservations in advance through their official WeChat account or the venue's website. Visitors must also wear masks, present their valid ID cards, have the reservation code and health code checked and have their temperatures taken before entering the museum.

Only those with a body temperature below 37.3 degrees Celsius and with no recent travel history to medium- or high-risk COVID-19 areas can enter the library.

During this period, the Shandong Art Museum has limited visits to no more than two hours. Reservations and services for group visits as well as planned public education activities have been temporarily suspended.

The Shandong Provincial Library has issued a notice requiring readers to show their health codes and have their temperatures checked before entering the library.

Readers are urged to carry out self-protection measures including wearing masks and washing their hands frequently, as well as maintaining social distancing at the library.

The Shandong Provincial Library will ensure that public facilities and retuned books are well-ventilated. It will also strengthen indoor ventilation and disinfection in public areas.

The Shandong Province Cultural Center announced that visitors should make online reservations in advance through its official WeChat account. The visitor capacity has been capped at 50 people a day via online reservations.

Measures such as wearing of masks, social distancing and disinfecting visitors' hands will be taken at the center. 

During the epidemic prevention and control period, the center's offline training, lectures, tutoring, performances, competitions and other activities have been suspended. Instead, the center will provide more high-quality public cultural services and resources for audiences through online means.
