Phoenix town in Linzi district - located in Zibo city in East China's Shandong province - has reportedly pushed to improve its local environment by upgrading an existing park and establishing new gardens, as well as prioritizing the protection of the Yunliang River.
The town recently upgraded Kanglang River Park in Xihe village by removing 12 disused courtyards, repairing riverway of more than 400 meters and building a lotus pool covering 6,000 square meters.
Environmental restoration was also carried out in villages along the Yunliang River where 34 gardens, 29 parking lots, 31 lotus pools were established – reportedly creating green, elegant and clean rural environment.
The Yunliang River Wetland Park is a major facility for local, where they can relax and exercise. Currently the flowers there are in full bloom, attracting lots of enthusiasts as well as people who just want to chill out.
