The Demo day and closing ceremony of the 895 Entrepreneurship Camp (12th season) Aerospace Special Session was held at the Shanghai Integrated Circuit Design Industrial Park on June 29.

The camp recruited 27 excellent entrepreneurial projects from China and abroad, eight of which had participated in the Demo day roadshow.

To improve the efficiency and intensify collaboration with manufacturers in both the upstream and downstream industrial chain, the camp invited industry leaders such as Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China and LandSpace to jointly release their business needs and strengthen exchanges and cooperation among participating projects.

During the event, Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park announced the establishment of an aerospace cluster area, Zhangjiang Blue Sky Station, within the 895 incubators.

Covering an area of 2,500 square meters, the station is scheduled to gather a group of innovative enterprises and continuously accelerate the construction of the aerospace ecosystem. This is also the first incubation carrier in the park with the theme of "Dream of the Blue Sky".

He Dajun, general manager of Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park, said they are expected to leverage the technological advantages of Zhangjiang to build an aerospace ecosystem featuring innovation and higher efficiency.

The team, led by Xie Anliang, founder of Shanghai Puyu Technology Co, is one of China's earliest companies researching and developing low-orbit broadband satellite systems. Currently, their self-developed first-generation terminal products are gradually being mass-produced.

Xie said that through participating in the entrepreneurship camp, they have come into contact with many investment and financing institutions. "Through the platform of the camp, we have met more partners in the ecosystem. We also have plans to settle in the newly established Zhangjiang Blue Sky Station," he said.

After fierce competition, 19 companies were awarded the "Blue Sky Dream Innovation Power" title. As of now, the entrepreneurship camp has been held for eight years and recruited a total of 357 companies.
