The steel structure of B3a-01, B3b-01, and the underground space project at the Weiliu Road in Zhangjiang online new economy ecological park was topped off on Aug 22.

The project, which started in June 2021 and took 2 years to reach this stage as scheduled, is considered the start of a new era for the digital economy in Zhangjiang.

The Zhangjiang online new economy ecological park project has a total development space of about 530,000 square meters, and is divided into three parts: (B3a-01, B3b-01), (B2a-01, B2b-01), and (B3b-06).

The project is located within the Golden Middle Ring Development Belt in the Sunqiao area of Zhangjiang and faces the "gate of science" landmark twin iconic 320-meter towers to its south and north.

The Zhangjiang online new economy ecological park, developed by Zhangjiang Group, is a significant part of Shanghai's online new economy layout. It has also been listed as a Pudong characteristic industrial park and a special industrial park in Shanghai.

The topped off plots B3a-01 and B3b-01 are located in the middle of the Zhangjiang online new economy ecological park. These plots have a total construction area of approximately 170,000 square meters, and consist of three R&D buildings with 12-18 floors.

The topping of the B3a-01/B3b-01 structures signifies the commencement of a new phase in project construction. Zhangjiang Group stated that they will target major industrial needs and public living needs, and expedite the construction and completion of crucial projects.
