Third Fenyang Food and Wine Culture Festival kicks off

The 2024 Chinese Cuisine Art Festival and the Third Fenyang Food and Wine Culture Festival opened in Fenyang, North China's Shanxi province, on April 25. 

People will have the chance to enjoy food and wine as well as the beautiful scenery – all of which are powering the city's rapid economic growth – over the 10-day festival.

Renowned experts, nationally recognized catering entrepreneurs, Chinese culinary masters, well-known enterprises from various provinces and cities, and representatives from national-level media have been invited to the 10-day event in Fenyang, known as the "hometown of chefs" and the "hometown of Fenjiu".

During the event, a rich variety of activities will be held, including a food festival, wine tasting, the showcasing of local delicacies, and demonstrations of traditional culinary skills, presenting a visual and gustatory feast. Furthermore, a Fenjiu cultural exhibition will be held to showcase the unique brewing techniques and cultural significance of Fenjiu liquor.

The event will give Fenyang the opportunity to showcase its rich culinary culture and its achievements in the development of the catering industry. This will further promote the dissemination of Fenyang's culinary culture, attracting more tourists and investors and injecting new momentum into the city's rapid economic growth.
