Diao Kunpeng, master of ecology, is a wildlife conservation expert. He was admitted to the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences as a postgraduate, studying under Academician Wei Fuwen. Since graduation, Diao has been engaged in giant panda conservation. In 2014, following his tutor's steps, Diao volunteered to come to Tangjiahe to participate in a project in cooperation with the Beijing Shan Shui Conservation Center. He has stayed here for ten years.  Not long after joining the station, Diao participate in the rescue of the giant panda. The surgeon from Qingchuan County People's Hospital cleaned and sutured its injuries. For animal rescue, the first six hours are called the golden six hours. At that time, they had to use any resource available, especially the local medical resources, to rescue the panda.
