Tianjin Electronic Information College (TEIC) has recently chosen two teachers to participate in an exchange and study program at Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics (MTUCI) in Russia.

This initiative aims to enhance the efficiency of the Russia Luban Workshop's operations and foster deeper collaboration across various domains between the two institutions.

As China's flagship vocational training program, the Luban Workshop is spearheaded by the Tianjin government to share vocational technology and culture with the world, with the goal of cultivating high quality and skilled talents for hosting countries.

The Russia Luban Workshop, mainly offering communication technology and computer network technology courses, was launched in June, 2021, sponsored by the TEIC and MTUCI.

During the program, the visiting teachers and their counterparts at the MTUCI together addressed operational challenges related to 5G equipment and internet of things training tools used in teaching, providing professional guidance to the Luban Workshop students.

As part of their collaboration, the teachers developed a curriculum system for the local Luban Workshop and agreed upon a framework for sharing teaching resources, co-constructing professional content, and conducting research on advanced technologies.

In addition, the two parties shared experiences on preparations for the World Vocational College Skills Competition. They expressed mutual interest in establishing a Stino-Russian Capture the Flag team and laid out a preliminary plan for joint training.

The visiting teachers also had the opportunity to visit Russia's quantum communication laboratory. They compared notes on cutting-edge communication technologies like quantum encryption, enriching the scope of cooperation between the two institutions in the realm of scientific research.
