Tianjin, home to 13 million people, reported negative results of its city-wide nucleic acid testing on Sunday, a day after the sample collection on Saturday. The results did not include people under lock down.

Between Feb 24 and March 26, a total of 793 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been reported and the youngest patient was an 8-day-old baby.

Local CDC authorities call on continuous preventive and protective measures by the public, including wearing masks and practising social distancing.
