The fourth “Tianjin in my eyes” photo contest will be held between June and July, inviting expats to share their photos of Tianjin

Anyone from overseas who has ever studied, worked or lived in the beautiful port city is welcome to present their experience in photos.

With the main theme of “feeling Tianjin, witnessing its development, and the deepening of friendship”, submitted photography works should center on cityscapes, cultural features, news and events, and scientific and technological innovation.

The contest will start at the beginning of June and conclude at the end of July, with launch, implementation and selection phases.

The entries will first be reviewed by a panel, who will select 100 outstanding pieces. Then, the shortlisted entries will be displayed on a designated webpage so that the public can vote for their favorite entries. Finally, the review panel will score the entries into 5 categories: 3 first prizes, 6 second prizes, 10 third prizes, 20 excellence prizes and the 10 most popular prizes.

Hosted by the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, the event aims to exhibit Tianjin as a real, multi-dimensional city through the eyes and lenses of foreign contestants.

The entries should be original or fully copyrighted. The organizer has the right to use the copyright of selected entries and can publicize and publish all submitted entries in any form and on any channel. For those who are interested, please send your photos to skjjyzc@tj.gov.cn.
