In August 2021, Sino-Singapore Letao Livestreaming Base, an e-commerce platform jointly built by Sino-Singapore Eco-city, and Alibaba Group, has settled in the eco-city.

In the past year, the base has created a new consumption mode by integrating the digital economy and real economy to build a smart eco-city and develop sci-tech industry.

Built on the base, the livestreaming economy is increasingly integrated. In the past six months, the base has built partnerships with 326 online livestreaming marketing companies with over 560 products being offered.

The base has built a “Letao Internet Marketing Industry Academy” with universities, providing on-boarding trainings for new graduates. Meanwhile, the academy is estimated to offer more than 600 jobs for excellent students and attract over 3,000 internet marketing talents each year.

With over 500 varieties of products like imported snacks, daily necessities, chemicals and cosmetics being offered, the base has built a retail area for the convenience of nearby residents, where they can “pick up what they have ordered online”.

As one of the three major pools and a “time-honored brand” in China, for instance, Changlu Saltern hopes to expand its sales channels through e-commerce and thus built a partnership with Letao Livestreaming Base.

Based on Changlu Saltern’s demands, the base offers guidance and support, training and supply chain, effectively promoting its brand image and sales volume.
