Tianjin Customs delivers over 70 imported horses

Seventy-two imported horses arrived in Tianjin Binhai International Airport on a charted plane on Feb 11.

After undergoing quarantine procedures, these thoroughbred horses will be transferred to an isolation site in Tongzhou district of Beijing for further quarantine inspection.

They are scheduled to be finally delivered to their buyers in Shuozhou of Shanxi province for riding, racing, performance and entertainment.

Li Zhaojin, an officer with Tianjin Customs in Tianjin Binhai International Airport, said that to further improve customs clearance efficiency, Tianjin Customs are in touch with  enterprises concerned, learned more information about the horses in terms of number, species and features, and conducted customs quarantine measures in a timely manner.
