Royal Caribbean International's cruise ship, Serenade of the Seas, docked at the Tianjin International Cruise Home Port on April 7, with over 1,800 tourists from 50 countries and regions aboard.

The ship is currently embarking on the world's longest round-the-world cruise, spanning an impressive 275 days, with Tianjin being its only stop on Chinese mainland.

The ship will dock at Tianjin for two days and one night, and most of the tourists aboard will go sightseeing in the cities of Beijing and Tianjin.

On arriving in the port, they were welcomed by folk music and lion dances and local culture exhibitions, including the Clay Figurine Zhang.

Over 800 visitors have applied for visa-free transit. This also marks the largest gathering of international tourists since China implemented the 144-hour visa-free transit policy for 53 countries.

The Tianjin Dongjiang border inspection station adopts a number of measures in order to efficiently handle customs clearance procedures for foreign passengers, such as paperwork verification before arrival, maritime processing and additional temporary visa processing windows to ensure smooth customs clearance for foreign passengers.

In addition, domestic payment guidelines for inbound foreign tourists on site are available to improve the convenience of payment for foreigners during their travel in China.

Tianjin International Cruise Home Port has welcomed 22 cruise ships and seen 68,000 tourist visits so far this year.
