Guo Ren Zhang produces various delicious nuts with natural color and aroma. They are fragrant but not mediocre, sweet but not greasy, with beautiful color and crispy texture, and can be stored for a long time without getting stale. Guo Ren Zhang has a history of more than 160 years. The first generation, Zhang Mingchun, and the second generation, Zhang Weishun, used to work in the imperial kitchen of the Qing dynasty, specializing in frying various snacks. They were praised and appreciated by the emperor and the Empress Dowager, and thus became known as palace snacks. After the liberation, the third generation, Zhang Huishan, fried various nuts such as pure fragrant peanuts, glass walnuts, and tiger skin peanuts, which were rated as high-quality foods at the 1956 Tianjin Commercial Exhibition of Fine Foods, and participated in the Botswana International Expo. Premier Zhou Enlai had invited foreign guests to taste Guo Ren Zhang's products at banquets.
Today, Guo Ren Zhang's products are the result of the hard work and wisdom of four generations. The production process and ingredients are very strict. The nuts must be full and meet the standards, and the oil quality and temperature must be controlled according to seasonal changes. Different ingredients are used to adjust the color and taste of nut products, and various techniques are used, such as pushing, flipping, pressing, scooping, stirring, lifting, pressing, turning, squeezing, shaping, and decorating.
