Recently, the new factory of Bafang Electric (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. located in Tianjin Ziya Economic and Technological Development Zone High-tech Industrial Park, Jinghai district, has been put into operation.

The new factory of Bafang Electric (Tianjin) started production in September. Currently, the intelligent production assembly line can produce one motor in just over 10 seconds. It is expected to produce 12 million motors per year, with sales revenue projected at over 800 million yuan (about $110 million).
"We have built 10 production lines, of which three are automated, realizing automated production and reducing labor costs. At the same time, our products have greatly reduced collisions caused by handling during the production process, improving production quality," said a staff from the company.

Leveraging the high-quality and comprehensive industry chain in Jinghai district, Bafang Electric (Tianjin) has increased investment and expanded production to build the largest production base in North China. The newly-built factory will form a synergistic effect with upstream and downstream electric bicycle companies, continuously expanding the scale of the industry, optimizing the industrial layout, and enhancing the industrial capabilities, in a bid to contribute to the high-quality development of Jinghai district.
