A green industrial park refers to a platform that is led by green development, upholds the principles of resource conservation and environmental friendliness, and provides collaborative services for production enterprises and infrastructure. It aims to create green factories, develop green products, and build green supply chains.

In recent years, the Wuqing Development Area has implemented the new development concept of "innovation, coordination, green, openness, and sharing". It adheres to the principle of "prioritizing environmental protection and promoting ecological development", encouraging companies to construct distributed photovoltaic power generation projects and energy-saving facility renovation projects, in a bid to promote the transformation of industries towards green and low-carbon development.

Up to now, the Wuqing Development Zone has established 6 national-level green factories and 5 municipal-level green factories. The competitiveness of enterprises in terms of green, low-carbon, and sustainable development continues to improve.

Going forward, Wuqing Development Zone will continue to promote the concept of green, low-carbon, and energy-efficient environmental protection. It will fully leverage the advantages of intelligent technology, biomedicine, and modern service industries, promote the high-end, intelligent, and green development of existing industries, and accelerate the construction of a green industrial system.
