Acacia confusa flowers recently came into full bloom in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province. People in Xiamen can appreciate the adorable blossoms at Huwei Mountain, Dongping Mountain, Wucun Mountain and Wulaofeng Mountain.

Xiamen planted most of its acacia confusa trees in the mountains from the 1950s to the 1970s. In earlier times the mountains were bare because of the war and inordinate tree-cutting.

Acacia confusa is a perennial tree native to South-East Asia. It is an important tree species for afforestation, water and soil conservation and coastal shelter forests in South China.
