Hulishan Fortress in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province, now receives 5G coverage, becoming the first tourist attraction in Fujian to apply the technology.

The application of 5G will optimize network coverage in the tourist attraction and meet the needs of 4K HD video transmission, fast and accurate navigation, and high-speed internet access for a large number of tourists, according to a staff member at Hulishan Fortress.

What's more, tourists will be able to experience 5G smart tourism applications such as 5G+VR panorama live broadcast and 5G+AI tourism service in the near future.
