Schneider to construct Xiamen facilities into world class

Schneider Electric, a French multinational corporation, plans to turn its factories in Xiamen, Fujian province into competitive world-class facilities, according to Zhang Kaipeng, senior vice president of Schneider Electric in China.

Zhang made the remarks during the Schneider Electric Innovation Summit held in Xiamen on June 6.

"Schneider's factories in Xiamen will not only serve local customers, but also other customers around the world," said Zhang.

According to the senior vice president, their Xiamen factories are extremely capable in terms of innovation.

A piece of customized project management software developed by a factory in Xiamen was adopted by all Schneider Electric factories in China and will expand to its other factories around the world in the future.

Schneider Electric established 23 factories in China, three of which are located in Xiamen. The Xiamen factories have grown into its three largest manufacturers of vacuum arc-extinguishing chambers.

In the company's latest assessment, the Xiamen factories lead all the other factories in customized production worldwide.

During the summit, Schneider Electric released its innovative products and solutions involving digital power distribution and artificial intelligence and showcased its achievements in sustainable development.
