Xiamen commerce chamber builds another 4 overseas offices

The Chamber of International Commerce Xiamen in East China's Fujian province set up another four overseas offices, according to its fourth member congress in Xiamen on Aug 13.

The four newly-founded offices are located in Vietnam, New Zealand, Japan and Namibia, bringing the total number of such offices established by the Xiamen commerce chamber to 33.

In the last five years, the Chamber of International Commerce Xiamen has expanded its members from 500 to 2,200 and organized roughly 1,500 local companies' attendance at overseas exhibitions.

Zhang Quanjun, chairman of the Chamber of International Commerce Xiamen, said that in the next five years the commerce chamber will construct itself into a first class organization of its kind by improving its services and highlighting international exchanges so as to contribute to the better development of Xiamen.
