The 2019 China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) and the Belt and Road Investment Conference (BRIC) will focus on cooperation among countries along the Silk Road, according to a press conference held on Aug 22 in Fuzhou, capital of Fujian province.

The 2019 CIFIT is set to take place in Xiamen, Fujian province, from Sept 8 to 11.

This year's event will feature the Silk Road, with pavilions being set up to explore investment, industrial investment promotion and trade between countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

The pavilion which focuses on trade between participating countries in the BRI will emphasize agricultural products and capital. An investment exhibition area for Silk Road countries will also be set up at the investment-themed pavilion.
