Taiwan law firm sets up representative office in Xiamen

A taiwan law firm opened a representative office in the Xiamen Area of China (Fujian) Pilot Free Trade Zone on Sept 17, local media reported.

With the deepening of cross-Straits economic and trade cooperation and increasing personnel exchanges, there is growing demand for legal services on both sides of the Taiwan Straits.

As the first Taiwan law firm to settle in Xiamen FTZ, the representative office will provide more convenient and diversified legal services for enterprises from both sides of the Taiwan Straits and better serve cross-Straits economic and trade exchanges.

According to a spokesman of the representative office, the office will mainly provide services such as cross-Straits business contract drafting, commercial arbitration, and cargo customs declarations and dispute settlements for Taiwan businessmen and compatriots in Xiamen.
