The 2019 C&D Xiamen (Haicang) International Half Marathon will be held on Dec 8, according to the organizing committee.

Registration for the half marathon started on Sept 24 and runs to Oct 13. There will be 18,000 runners participating in this year's event, organizers said.

Founded in 2016, the event was recognized as a Silver Label Road Race by the Chinese Athletics Association last year and has become a shining name card of Xiamen's Haicang district.
